I LOVE to watch red carpet events, but never end up watching the actual awards shows, haha! The fashion is always so inspiring to me as it is an art show in it's own way, rather than on a canvas or in a gallery the dresses are the focal point along with the women who wear them and how they accessorize and coordinate their entire outfits, definitely works of art.
This years Golden Globes had a theme that appealed to me the most, flowers! My pics for best dressed are the four above. Whether bold and prominent as in dress one (Olivia Culpo) and four (Guiliana Rancic), or more subtle and minimal as in two (Lilly Collins) and three (Jessica Biel), flowers were the trend. All the women looked stunning and owned their outfits with confidence and glamour. I may have to add in more flowers in some of my EMPOWERED paintings and "Women Warriors" art...well, actually my next "Women Warriors" painting is going to be of the amazing Frida Kahlo with a crown of gorgeous, bold, flamboyant flowers; I'm definitely very inspired to get started on it after last nights gowns!
