Several years ago I started a new series that would feature amazing cities of the world in a pop art style called "Celebration of a City". The first was Hong Kong and then I did a Miami one for the Absolut X Contest. My intentions have been to add more, but I have had to focus on other projects first, but I'm once again ready to delve in and create more wonderful and whimsically fun City paintings from around the world! Here is my latest featuring the Eiffel Tower backdropped against a distant Paris skyline, this is so much fun and the details will keep you revisiting this painting often with bold colors and hot air balloons dotting a cloudy sky. The young lady with the red umbrella adds a touch of the human element and creates a feeling of nostalgia and the dream to visit such a stunning landmark and city, I know I want to go now more than ever! It's always so much fun to see an artist creating a piece of art so I'm going to show you some photos of the painting coming to life! "Dreaming of Paris" original is now available in the store, and prints and cards available here. I hope you enjoy my latest "Celebration of a City" Painting and keep a lookout for more; Vegas, London and other cityscapes are in the works!!
