October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For years I've been creating cancer awareness ribbons, particularly the pink ribbon for breast cancer.  I recently completed several new designs and will be offering them on greeting cards, phone cases and more to help you show support for women you may know fighting the disease or to simply show your support for the cause.

I feel that the big cancer awareness foundations or non-profit organizations raising funds for cancer don't always put the money they collect to the best use, it seems too much of it goes to the CEO's to the tune of million dollar+ salaries.  I personally donate all of my profits from the cancer ribbons to someone I personally know fighting the battle or to organizations that actually do something that is tangible, like the Fab-U-Wish program by Guiliana Rancic that provides encouragement and support to women battling the disease by making them feel confident and good about themselves.  Having confidence and feeling strong and positive during tough times makes all the difference in our every day lives and is monumental when going through the most difficult of times.
